One time I was drawn to paint on Borobudur Temple, I want to make people think about two dimensions of three-dimensional objects. when you look at the three-dimensional objects of interest, you took a picture and when you print you get a 2-dimensional image which is limited by the frame. That's what you take home as souvenirs. This process is very interesting for me. So we have a memory that was compressed into 2 dimensions.
And one other thing that I think should be distributed is the treatment of world heritage, it is very bad! no one felt responsible for it. I am not an archaeologist who can say that Borobudur treatment enough, or less, but I am just an observer who sees that the treatment could still be improved.
That's what I want to show you in my work, colorful Borobudur. There are 30 pieces of paintings on the series.
